In 2011, at the age of eight, I moved to the United Arab Emirates with my family, which marked the beginning of a new chapter in my life. As a student of international schools, experiencing diverse cultural communities while simultaneously attending the Polish school at the Polish Embassy in Abu Dhabi, based in Dubai, for nine years, from elementary school to third grade, allowed me to develop a strong sense of national identity while maintaining the ability to function effectively in a multicultural environment. I graduated with a Master’s degree in Sustainable Development from the University of Sussex. My undergraduate studies at Murdoch University focused on strategic communication. My research focuses on the interconnections of state and national power in the dynamic relationships in Central and Eastern Europe and the Middle East.
